WF Chontelle ET has a great covering of very soft handling fibre, that has a comfort factor of 99.1% and a curvature of 43.8 on the OFDA scale. She produces a long, well define staple, within a bright and highly crimped fleece. This is a really uniform fleece and there is plenty of it.
Her sire is Forestglen Rameses, a solid white male of really high quality. While her dam is our top selected white female, Waratah Flats Tanager, we imported from Peru in 2002. WF Tanager (20.9u in her 3rd fleece and a CF of 97.6%) has also produced a number of show champions.
WF Chontelle ET has been mated to the outstanding medium fawn stud male Forestglen Seth - Supreme Champion of the 2008 International Fleece Show and Supreme Champion Fleece at the 2007 Sydney Royal. This combination of Forestglen genetics is rarely available in New Zealand.
